Fred-Report:

Today I am finally up and around again. Guess I was a bit tired from all the travelling to Ushuaia plus all the excitement of re-joining the "MS National Geographic Explorer" again.

We meanwhile passed the Drake Passage and today is our first full day down in Antarctica.

I went to meet Kathleen today, who is the Receptionist on board. She checked me in - finally.

So I got a new ID-card, which I will have to take with me and swipe whenever I go ashore or come back on board. That way the crew can check if everybody is back on board before they sail away.

The coolest thing, however, is that I got a crew ID card - I am now listed with the manning number 205.
