Hannah Point, Livingston Island / South Shetlands
62°38,9’S; 060°37,4’W

Once again the Drake Passage treated us well and we arrived off the South Shetland Islands during the late morning hours. Today we were aiming to visit Hannah Point, located on the southern coast of Livingston Island.

Hannah Point was named after the sealing vessel “Hannah” from Liverpool, which wrecked here on Christmas Day in 1820.

I joined Eduardo today, who was driving a shuttle boat.

I got all bundled up, because the weather was not too nice – it was an overcast and “fresh” day. Later on it even started to rain. But Eduardo found a little, sort of dryish seat for me.

Back on board I went to see Marek, who made me a really nice hot chocolate. Hmmmm!
